Would you agree with the aim of retaining the open plan nature of the estate by preserving our green open amenity spaces and by supporting the aim of preserving the existing mature trees as much as is possible.? If so please add your name to a residents group / association that could more effectively seek support from local authorities..
Data from the petition of 2013 (in which signatories showed concern over the issue of protection for the trees and open spaces of the estate area) and from the recently completed survey that also
A Residents Group / Association could help the Highland Park Estate represent views
to the local authorities. Please support a group being formed by adding your name now.
The next step now would be for all residents to register their name for the ‘Highland Park Estate’ - or as it has been suggested - maybe the “Wesley Wood Estate” Residents Group.

If you would like to ask about anything relating to the next step in getting a residents group organised or if there are any comments or other suggestions you would like to make please use the e-mail form here.
If you were unable to take part in the original survey; the results of which showed Wimborne & Colehill councils that a majority of residents on the estate wanted a residents’ group then please go to the survey-page now. Thanks
& Enquiries
asked for support on the same issue - showed that over 60 % of the homes on the estate (110 of 179) would like to see these spaces and trees protected and preserved to retain the quality of the environment in which we live and about 98% of the 169 individual responses believed that a residents association/group would be useful to allow for communication between council and residents.
