Would you agree with the aim of retaining the open plan nature of the estate by preserving our green open amenity spaces and by supporting the aim of preserving the existing mature trees as much as is possible.? If so please add your name to a residents group / association that could more effectively seek support from local authorities..
Residents do currently help maintain our shared environment. Obviously the estate’s front lawns - generally being unfenced and open plan, as designed - often run into, or are opposite amenity areas that could benefit from being occasionally cut at the same time as a resident’s own lawn.
It is perhaps surprising how an increasing number of residents do already help to maintain the estate.
Whether leaf-clearing in the Autumn or planting patches of daffodils, primroses or bluebells in odd corners ready for
the Spring.
